With Rhyme or Reason
Prolific peons of the pen present the prose and poetry they painstakingly put to paper. This, but with fewer alliterations, is the concept of a new series of readings where unknown authors in the making (or so we hope) get a chance to read their works to a wider audience than usual. Although their pet hamsters never complained up until now, it's probably best - both for hamster and author - if the poor rodent's ears get a little rest and the author a little feedback from listeners who can actually speak.
Therefore, die bühne and the Department of British and American Studies are proud to present an extraordinary line-up of teachers and students who will deliver anything, from a haiku to the excerpt of a novel. Each of them has five to ten minutes to present his or her writings on a specific topic that also makes for the headline of the evening.
